Chiropractor in Bullaburra
The Mountains Chiropractic's Bullaburra clinic is at 3/13 Kalinda Road, Bullaburra NSW 2784. We're open Tuesdays and Fridays, and you don't need a referral to book.
We see adults, pregnant women, babies, children and teenagers, and we claim your private health on the spot so you only pay the gap.
Who you'll see in Bullaburra
Dr Kate Slattery (Chiropractor) opened The Mountains Chiropractic in April 2024. She trained at RMIT in Melbourne and has been practising for 12 years, with a particular interest in pregnancy, kids and people whose bodies feel switched on all the time.
Kate works across both clinics, so your notes and care plan move with you if Blackheath suits better on a given week.
Until May 2027
Dr Kate is on mat leave. Dr Jasmine Malak and Dr Emma Zappia are adjusting until Christmas, then Dr Izzy Henry from January to the end of April, on Kate's usual days and hours.
What people come in for
Most people who walk into the Bullaburra clinic aren't injured. They're stiff, slow to recover and carrying tension in their neck and shoulders before they've even had a coffee. Some have tried physio, massage, Pilates and a new pillow, and the relief never quite holds.
Chiropractic looks at how well your spine is moving and how clearly your joints and brain are communicating. Your nervous system runs everything: how you move, how you adapt, how you recover. When a joint isn't moving as it should, your brain gets poorer information about where that joint is in space, and the muscles around it tend to hold on (which is often the tightness you feel).
An adjustment improves that movement and the information going back to your brain, so your body can get on with adapting to your day in a healthy way.
Available in Bullaburra
We offer chiropractic care for individuals of all ages, including mums-to-be, athletes, and seniors. Whether you're managing discomfort, recovering from an injury, or seeking to improve your mobility, our treatments are tailored to your needs.
Your first appointment is a consultation and a detailed assessment, which may include posture analysis and movement tests, x-ray referral if indicated, followed by your first adjustment where it's appropriate. It runs for 30-50 minutes.
We claim private health on site, so you only pay the gap. If your GP has referred you on a Medicare care plan (EPC), we process the Medicare claim in house too. See our rates.

Not if you don’t want to!
Chiropractors are trained in many different ways to restore normal joint movement and reduce pain. While adjustments that often produce a popping sound are extremely effective for addressing many conditions, we have a range of alternative techniques that can also help you.
Protocols for babies and children use no adjustments that produce a popping sound. In fact, many of these techniques use no more pressure than you would be able to tolerate on your own closed eye.
Patients who are in too much pain to receive a traditional adjustment, elderly patients and anyone who doesn’t feel comfortable with the popping sound can benefit from a similar approach. Just let us know how you would prefer to be adjusted and we will be very happy to accommodate your needs. It is always your choice.
Our Other Practice
